SAKURAGOLD™ is a new type of gold developed by TASAKI, inspired by the colour of cherry blossoms. This precious metal with a hint of cherry blossom pink has a more subdued hue than conventional pink gold; it is a colour unique to TASAKI that adds a new dimension to the fun of coordination.
TASAKI SAKURAGOLD™ retains the texture of 18k gold while also achieving a deeper red hue than conventional pink gold (comparisons made by TASAKI). The color of SAKURAGOLD™ stands out whether worn on its own or in an arrangement with other materials.
SAKURAGOLD™ was launched in March 2011 after approximately one and half years from October 2009 working on prototypes to determine how best to adjust the color while also maintaining its practicality as a metal.
