What kind of metal is SAKURAGOLD™?

SAKURAGOLD^TM is a new type of gold proprietary developed by TASAKI, inspired by the colour of cherry blossoms.This precious metal has a more subdued hue than conventional pink gold, its pale, elegant hint of cherry blossom pink tastefully complements the skin. It is a colour unique to TASAKI that adds a new dimension to the fun of jewellery coordination.

What kind of metal is GRIS METAL™?

GRIS METAL^TM is a TASAKI proprietary alloy, named after the Spanish word for ‘grey’. It is about twice as strong as Silver 925, so it is harder to deform and more durable.

Quality

I would like to know more about the quality of TASAKI pearls.

Since our foundation, TASAKI has employed stringent standards for the selection of pearls used in its jewellery range based on the six key criteria(Nacre quality, Luster, Colour, Shape, Blemishes, Size) used to determine pearl quality. Our pearls are also detailed on this page.

I have inherited a TASAKI product. Could you tell me its price?

Pricing information can be provided for designs that are currently available at TASAKI boutiques. In order to comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, pricing information for items that are no longer available for purchase can only be disclosed to the buyer of the product in question. Information may be disclosed upon receipt of a completed personal information disclosure request form from the person who purchased the product, their legal representative or their legal heir.

What is special about TASAKI diamonds ?

As a certified Sightholder of The De Beers Group of Companies, one of the world’s leading diamantaires,TASAKI has first-hand access to the highest-grade rough stones. TASAKI showcases incomparable brilliance and quality by taking the finest rough stones, executing superior polishing techniques, transforming them into unique and fashionable creations.

TASAKI now achieves a grade of 3EX(Triple Excellent) for 100 percent of the diamonds it cuts. Only these 3EX diamonds are used for TASAKI BRIDAL pieces.

Moreover, TASAKI only handles diamonds that have a Kimberley Process Certification, which verifies that each diamond has been produced ethically.

Proof of manufacturing

Is it possible to receive proof of manufacturing from TASAKI even without a warranty?

All products produced after 15 September, 2009 feature the TASAKI mark as proof of manufacturing. Products produced before this date feature our former mark as proof of manufacturing. For more information, please contact TASAKI Customer Service by telephone or using the Product information form.

Identification and grading reports

Do TASAKI products come with a diamond grading report or gem identification report?

We basically do not issue Diamond Grading Report or Gem Identification Report for our products. However we provide the GIA Identification Report or the TASAKI Diamond Grading Report for some diamond products including engagement rings. For products with no Diamond Grading Report or Gem Identification Report, please rest assured that the TASAKI logo engraved on the product certifies manufacture by TASAKI. We cannot accept changes from the TASAKI Diamond Grading Report to a report provided by an external agency.
